Message to Councillors

Consider the following:

1. In accordance with the Municipal Act citizens have the right to request a forensic audit of the City of Windsor's finances by The Province of Ontario.
2. The City is in a deep financial crisis.
3. Some of you have been quoted:
   "That you are in the dark" "You are being made to look stupid"
4. 2610 Citizens of this city have signed a petition requesting a provincial audit of this City's finances
5. 90% of AM800 news poll were in favour of an audit
6. It is apparent that a significant number of citizens want this audit

You maintain that you are dealing with the problems. You have been in possession of a report from The Randolph Group since January 1997. Taxpayers paid $60,000.00. for that excellent document. Why did you leave the report on the shelf to collect dust. This is just one compelling reason for an arms-length investigation into this City's governance as well as It's finances.

If you don’t support this Taxpayer initiative, you are representing who????
